Ouray Family Trip

It is that time of year again. You can feel it. The days are still warm, but the night air is crisp. A perfect time to head for the hills.

We took a family trip to Ouray a few weeks ago. It was so wonderful to get away from the big city (ha, ha) and head up to the mountains. We rented a little cabin next to the river. It was a trip that we were able to take Smootch the dog on. William made fun of me. He said he felt like he was on mine and Smootch's honeymoon because I was taking so many pictures with the dog.

It was fun to have him with us. We hiked to a waterfall, went to the town festival, played in the river and spent the day at the hot springs. No matter where you live or how much money you have, there is an adventure to be found. You know what they say "the family that plays together...stays together!" Now go play!
